| Description: |
(i) To educate the participants and to provide a broad understanding of what the EIE project is about, including the project structure and objectives to improve the awareness of IP-based technology transfer within the research community;
(ii) To outline the general institutional requirements, roles and information required by technology transfer office/licensing staff inside a university/research institution;
(iii) To analyze Mechanisms, approaches, and issues involved in carrying out IP based technology transfer, with a view to increase knowledge to encourage participants to increase the capacity of IP management, technology transfer and commercialization; and
(iv) To inform the role of establishing connected and networked community of technology professionals with the IP and other related skills inside Viet Nam, and as part of the EIE project. |
