The purpose of the study visit is to provide an opportunity for WIPO officials to better understand PCT related procedural matters both in international phase and in national phase in CNIPA, including CNIPA’s electronic system CEPCT, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), formalities examination, transfer of PCT fees, international search and preliminary examination, national phase entries, etc., so as to further enhance the quality and efficiency of the PCT operational processes between WIPO and CNIPA. |
