The objectives of the Coordination and Planning Meeting on the Establishment of a Modern and Effective National IP Office for Myanmar are to discuss and exchange views of the detailed implementation plan and to finalize the same with confirmation of allocation of resources and specific activities to be implemented by IP technical assistance providers in cooperation with the Government of Myanmar.
The objective of the individual meetings with the Minister and Deputy Minister for Commerce as well as the designated staff of the National IP Office of Myanmar is to discuss the practical aspects of setting up a new IP office based on the detailed implementation plan and to agree on areas of cooperation with WIPO for the same.
