In the context of the MoU which was concluded between WIPO and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) in November 2018 (FIT/KRADR), as well as related Workplan 2019 attached. MCST has invited the Center to participate in BCM, together with MCST representatives.
(BCM is a leading media market in the Asian region and gathers each year thousands of producers, broadcasters and distributors from around the world).
This Mission is comprised of Ms. Chiara Accorner's participation at the following three seminars summarized below:
-May 7, 2019: Seminar for members of ECCK, on mediation and arbitration for IP and Technology Disputes will take place in Seoul.
-May 8-10, 2019: At BCM, the Center and MCST in collaboration with the Korea Copyright Commission (KCC), and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) will have a booth to promote the MCST funded scheme to promote mediation of copyright and content disputes, including through face-to-face advisory sessions with businesses and a survey on disputes and WIPO ADR.
- May 9, 2019: MCST, the BCM Secretariat and the Center have organized a Seminar on Mediation of International Content-related Disputes in the context of a two-day conference at BCM.
