The XML4IP Task Force is multidisciplinary and in charge of developing WIPO Standard ST.96 for filing, processing, publication and exchange of data and documents in various IP fields. The discussions on ST.96 are directly related to all IP domains, including geographical indications, copyright orphan works and plant varieties and will require contribution and technical expertise from each business area to update and extend the Standard to the extent possible. The Task Force members will also discuss Machine to Machine communications. There will be in addition other bilateral meetings held with KIPO officials with each of the WIPO and UPOV participants attending this meeting. |
