In the framework of WIPO technical cooperation and assistance, the government of Zambia revised and adopted a National Intellectual Property Policy and Strategy (NIPPS) in 2017. As a follow-up project in implementation of the NIPPS, the government of Zambia, through the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) of Zambia, requested in November 2017 the development of a strategy on Building Respect for IP (BRIP) for the country. |
