The objectives of the Course, within the framework of Strategic Goal VI of WIPO, are:
- reviewing current trends and practices in the area of IPR enforcement;
- examining the justification, elements, investigation, prosecution of, and liabilities for, IP crimes and infringements, including sentencing;
- analyzing the roles of the law enforcement agencies and the courts, as well as right holders; and
- discussing various topical policy issues relating to IP enforcement. |
