The purpose of this meeting would be to discuss Sri Lanka’s draft legislation for implementing the Madrid Protocol with their legal experts, and to assess whether there are any remaining issues they would need to address prior to their accession. For same objective, Mr. Jatin Trivedi, as a regional consultant, took an assessment mission and visited Colombo, Sri Lanka from July 24 to 27, 2018. He had discussions with officials of NIPO, Legal Draftsman and members of Advisory Commission during his visit. His discoveries and exploration in last mission will benefit the mission of WIPO official. |
