The organization of the meeting was approved in the attached Memorandum dated March 22, 2023.
The organizers of the event have subsequently informed us of the postponement of the event. The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines has however proposed to organize the Expert meeting on creative industries indices on May 12-13, during a big event on original content, organized by the Creative Content Association of the Philippines (SIKAP). The first session of the meeting (as per the attached program), will be held as part of the public event on original content.
In discussions with the ASEAN Secretariat it was agreed that contributions from the ASEAN Secretariat to the meeting would be very relevant in order to ensure the integration of the results of the events and it reporting in the overall implementation strategy of the MoU. |
