Description:
The objectives are threefold: 1) to sensitize major stakeholders, including ARIPO Member States that are not members of the Madrid Union on the relevance of the Madrid system in the region; 2) to create a link between the Madrid Protocol and the Banjul Protocol, hence, offering ARIPO a better comprehension of the mechanism of the Madrid Protocol; 3) offer Member States of both Madrid Union and ARIPO the possibility to exchange views on the challenges or the implications of their memberships in both organizations.
