I.MISSION TO VIET NAM, MAY 29 TO 31, 2012
Kindly refer to the attached email from Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Head, International Cooperation Division, National Office of Intellectual Property of Viet Nam (NOIP), dated
April 24, 2012, referring to the interest of the Government of Viet Nam to benefit from the experience of Development Agenda Project DA_4_10_01 on intellectual property (IP) and product branding, and requesting a WIPO exploratory mission to Viet Nam in this context.
In consultation with the ASPAC Bureau, it is proposed that I undertake a fact-finding mission to Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 29 to 31, back-to-back with the subsequent mission I propose to undertake to Thailand (see point II. here below), with a view to providing inputs for a possible brand-promotion project to be funded by WIPO, either as a DA project or under the ASPAC budget. |
