MyIPO is organizing a workshop, to take place in Kuala Lumpur from November 26 to 29, 2013, to train their Trademark officials on drafting trademark judgments based on the case study approach. Details of the training, as received from MyIPO, are annexed. MyIPO has requested WIPO to nominate, and sponsor the participation of, a speaker from a Common Law country, preferably Australia, who would participate in the training as a resource person.
In consultation with IP-Australia, it is proposed that Mr. Jock McDonagh, Hearing Officer, Trade Mark Hearing and Opposition, IP Australia, Brisbane, participate in this workshop, for two days. |
