The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) is formally launching the “Danube Innovation Partnership” on 29 October 2013 in Bucharest, in the framework of the European Union Innovation Strategy Horizon 2020.
WIPO has a long term collaboration with JRC in the area of technology transfer and innovation. In that context, we invited JRC to take part in the recently organized WIPO Regional Meeting of the TTOs of the South East Europe, held in Zagreb on September 5 and 6, 2013.
JRC proposed that WIPO continue to be part of the partnership through future joint activities related to innovation, as it was the case of the JRC project on “TTO Network”. Forms of collaboration will further be discussed in Bucharest. |
