Objectives
The Needs Assessment Mission will have as a main objective, to take stock of the intellectual property (IP) situation in the country and to engage consultations with the concerned national authorities and other stakeholders of the public and private sector, in order to identify the areas of urgent assistance and to prepare for the launching process of the formulation of an IP Development Plan (IPDP) in Equatorial Guinea.
The mission will also be an opportunity to identify productive sectors which present a comparative advantage in terms of IP and to bring the national authorities, the holders of IP rights, the users and the potential users of the IP system, to better understand the challenges of IP and its contribution to the economic development of the country within the framework of the implementation of the plan.
