The objective of the study visit is for examiners to master skills and conduct similarity searches and make proper citations; raise objections at appropriate time, use proper citations, case laws, etc., and produce quality reports. In preparation for the training to be most effective, IP Australia has sought and received details on what PNG considers will make this mission a success; existing manuals for patents and trademarks; case laws and specific training needs.
