The objective of the forum is to discuss the IP systems in the ASEAN countries and WIPO has been invited to speak on its cooperation with ASEAN as one of the topics of the forum (copies of emails attached). The WSO has requested the ASPAC Bureau to explore the possibility of representing WIPO in the said meeting, taking advantage of ASPAC Bureau’s expected participation in the AWGIPC Meeting, and as a measure of cost efficiency.
