Description: |
The objective is to report on WIPO’s accomplishment of the project’s deliverables and officially hand over the project to the authorities and the national clove industry stakeholders.
An Exit Strategy in the management of development projects is key as it paves the way for its overall development goal to be mainstreamed in the overarching sectoral or national development planning; it provides for the sustainability of project accomplishments through the delivered targets, after the project life cycle is completed; it fosters to encourage commitment from the beneficiary institutions and stakeholders, to take full ownership of the results and sustain them way beyond the project cycle and ensure that the long-term development objective, which is to boost the clove sector’s competitiveness, and favor increased revenue streams for small holder farmers and related stakeholders, is achieved and sustained. |
