Join WIPO’s upcoming Seminar on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources from January 20 to 22, 2021, from 12.00 to 14.30 CET.

Renown experts from different backgrounds, including government officials, academia, industry representatives and representatives of indigenous peoples and local communities, will gather in three roundtables to share regional, national and local practices, experiences and case studies regarding intellectual property and genetic resources. The experts will also discuss and exchange views on substantive issues related to intellectual property and genetic resources, in particular the issues being negotiated by the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC).
All WIPO Member States and accredited observers to WIPO and the IGC are invited.
Interpretation will be provided into and from Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
