The WIPO Seminar on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expressions: Regional and International Dimensions took place at WIPO Headquarters from June 23 to June 25, 2015.
The seminar saw discussion of one of the most challenging topics in the intellectual property field: the question of how best to protect traditional knowledge and cultural expressions, and the relationship between intellectual property and genetic resources.
