Convention establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization
Accession of the Togolese Republic
The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the Togolese Republic deposited, on January 28, 1975, its instrument of accession to the said Convention.
The Togolese Republic has fulfilled the condition set forth in Article 14(2) of the Convention by concurrently acceding to the Stockholm Act (1967) of the Paris Convention and to the Paris Act (1971) of the Berne Convention as provided for in Article 29bis of that Act.
Pursuant to Article 15(2), the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization will enter into force, with respect to the Togolese Republic, three months after the date of deposit of the instrument of accession, that is, on April 28, 1975.
