International Convention for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants
Signatory States of the Additional Act of November 10, 1972
The Secretary General of the International Union for the Protection of New Plant Varieties presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in conformity with the provisions of Article VIII, paragraph (6) of the above Additional Act, has the honor to inform him that the following States have signed the said Additional Act:
- Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany (Federal Republic of), Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom, on November 10, 1972;
- Sweden, on January 11, 1973.
The Secretary General wishes to draw attention to the fact that all of the signatures were affixed subject to ratification.
In accordance with Article V, paragraph (1), the Additional Act is open for signature until April 1, 1973, by Member States of the Union and by States signatory of the Convention. All States as of this day falling within either of these categories have signed the said Additional Act.
