Register for the Global Challenges Seminar: Driving MedTech Innovation Ecosystems in LDCs

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in partnership with Medtronic and the UN Technology Bank, will host a Global Challenges Seminar exploring the critical role of MedTech innovation in improving healthcare access in Least Developed Countries (LDCs).

This seminar, which will take place on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, from 14:00 to 17:00 CET at WIPO headquarters in Geneva, will examine the current state of MedTech innovation in LDCs, with a focus on Bangladesh and Rwanda. Discussions will delve into challenges and opportunities within the MedTech sector, with a focus on how innovation can address widespread and pressing health needs in LDCs.

This Global Challenges Seminar aims to foster dialogue that will inform policy decisions and drive action to enhance livelihoods and health outcomes in LDCs and developing countries.

Following the seminar, a reception will provide an opportunity for networking and further discussion.
