Once we have registered your trademark, you can easily track its progress using "Monitor Your Registration" under eMadrid. To get started, simply enter your international registration number.

You can find out at a glance whether each designated Madrid System Member has granted or refused protection in your target markets using the “Designation Status” tab.

Tip! If the status of protection is “Protection Granted”, you can directly download a PDF document showing a status summary. If you need something more official, you can quickly order a certified document!

You can also use "Monitor your Registration" to access detailed information on all trademarks registered through the Madrid System, and to keep an eye on competitors' marks.

Email alerts

Set up Madrid Monitor alerts to receive email alerts each time we update the status of your international registration:

  1. enter your mark name or International Registration number in the simple search bar;
  2. open the mark record; and
  3. click "Alert me when the document is updated" in the upper right-hand corner.

Note: You need a WIPO Account to set up email alerts.
