【WJO’s Events & Activities】English Seminar on Intellectual Property 2014

On August 25, Mr. Okamoto, a Counsellor (Acting Head) at the WIPO Japan Office (WJO), gave a lecture to students from different countries on WIPO’s efforts at the English Seminar of Intellectual Property 2014, organized by the Japan Association of Universities for Intellectual Property Education and Research. After the lecture, Mr. Okamoto, Mr. Jonah Asher, Associate Research Officer at the WJO, and Ms. Momoko Iwahashi, Administrative Assistant at the WJO, promoted the IP Advantage database, which is a compilation of successful case studies of the utilization of intellectual property from around the world, by conducting a workshop utilizing case studies from the database.
