October 3, 2023

WIPO Japan Office has organized “Show and Tell Presentation Competition” on 28 September 2023. Students from primary school to university made presentations with the theme of “The Greatness of Innovation and Creativity”in the form of “Show and Tell”. In this first year of the initiative, we have received 104 entries. Twenty finalists, five from each category of primary school, secondary school, high school and university were shortlisted from the entry video presentation and invited to deliver their five-minutes-presentation on diverse topics in the Akasaka Intercity Air, Tokyo. A panel of external judges representing a wide range of fields evaluated their “originality”, “problem solving”, “social impact potential”, “narrative” and “expression” and selected eight winners of the competition.

There was also an honorable presentation by Andrew Masciola, NASA Attaché in Japan under the title of “NASA and Space Exploration”.
