WIPO Japan Office Organized “The 2nd Show and Tell Presentation Competition”

WIPO Japan Office has organized “The 2nd Show and Tell Presentation Competition” on 17 January 2025. Students from primary school to university made presentations with the theme of “the Greatness of Innovation and Creativity” in the form of “Show and Tell”. This second year of the initiative, we have received many entries same as the last time. Twenty finalists, from each category of primary school, secondary school, high school and university were shortlisted from the entry video presentation and invited to deliver their presentations on diverse topics in United Nations University, Tokyo. Each finalist shared their unique stories, including the inventions inspired by their families, experiences as young entrepreneurs and contributions to the SDGs, all expressed in their own words (Tell). They also captivated the audience by showcasing their innovative products and engaging slide decks in their presentations (Show). In this competition, the Audience Choice Award was also selected by live stream participants in addition to the gold award and silver award, which was selected by a panel of external judges representing a wide range of fields.

There was also an honorable presentation by Fumio Adachi, United Nations Industrial Development Organization.

The event was attended by presenters, families of finalists and prominent figures of various industries. Videos of the event will be available on WIPO Japan Office web page with multiple languages at later date.

This event was financed by the Funds-In-Trust Japan Industrial Property Global.
