WIPO will hold a new webinar on the PCT System

The topic of the webinar: Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and WIPO Services: PATENTSCOPE for CACEEC

The webinar will give a brief overview of the main steps of the PCT system and how the WIPO PATENTSCOPE search database can be used during these steps, in particular for the preparation of a PCT application, in the international phase, and in the decision to enter the national phase.

An overview of the PATENTSCOPE search database will describe the main features of searching the WIPO global database of patent documents and will also describe some of the tools available in the database.

In addition, the various search interfaces would be demonstrated in terms of simple search, field combination search and advanced search modes, as well as the ability to search chemical structures in the relevant interface and the tools for creating an advanced cross-language query and WIPO Translate.

The presentation will also include a part on search results so that users will know how to generate them.

The webinar is aimed at Russian-speaking applicants, patent attorneys, IP officers, inventors and IP specialists

The webinar will be held in Russian. During the webinar, you will have an opportunity to ask a specialist from Geneva all the questions you might have.
