WIPO’s IP Diagnostic Tool for Business is Available in Russian

A unique tool to help SMEs to better understand how intellectual property (IP) can help to grow their business is now available in Russian. WIPO’s IP Diagnostics is a free, IP self-assessment tool that helps businesses identify their IP assets. Almost 30 translations and adaptations of the tool are available at the moment. 

For the Russian adaptation, the Tool’s updated questionnaires and reports have been developed taking into account Russian legislation and practice.

A user connects online and responds to questions that will assist in better understanding the following:

• in what cases and where to register the SMEs intellectual property,
• when an exclusive right arises and how to properly formalize its transfer
• who can help to evaluate and register the IP rights
• what WIPO programs are available and where to find more useful information for organizing work with IP for the development of the business
