Exciting announcement! WIPO is calling on local ASEAN companies across all sectors, technologies, or industries to seize an upcoming opportunity to join us for a collaborative project on patent analytics.
Are you a local company in the ASEAN region with:
- Active research and development initiatives?
- An intent to better understand market or technology trends, identify competitors or potential collaborators, or improve strategic decision-making through the use of patent data?
- An existing patent portfolio of at least two patent applications?
- A team who is willing to commit time on their part to collaborate and be involved in a WIPO project?
If yes, then this one is for you.
This year, WIPO is embarking on a project with interested local companies or enterprises operating in the ASEAN region. The project aims to utilize patent information and patent analytics as a valuable tool for generating technology and commercial insights for ASEAN businesses. WIPO will work with beneficiaries to demonstrate how patent analytics can support IP-driven innovation in business, from R&D planning and assessing the strength of an IP portfolio to tracking competitor’s activities and scanning the technological landscape.

- Actionable insights to plan R&D strategy and guide market entry
