WIPO Pearl: now with over 250,000 terms

The WIPO Pearl database has been updated and now contains over 255,000 terms, all validated by WIPO-PCT language experts. In addition, nearly 29,000 concepts (or 89%) are linked to other concepts in the database, and these relationships can be browsed in our Concept Map Search. Further relationships can be shown in unvalidated “concept clouds” produced via a machine learning algorithm.

Collaboration with universities

This release includes 650 multilingual terminology records comprising over 1,800 terms provided by students at the following universities, following our validation:

• Moscow State Linguistic University, Russian Federation
