COPYR1GHT (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 2007 (COMMENCEMENT) NOTICE 2008

Under section 2(2) of the Copyright (Amendment) Ordinance 2007 (15 of 2007), I appoint 25 April 2008 as the day on which the following sections of the Ordinance shall come into operation

(a)

section 6(1) (insofar as it relates to the new section 25(1)(c));

(b)

section 47(2) (insofar as it relates to paragraph (c) of the new definition of "rental right" in section 198(1)); and

(c)

section 75 (insofar as it relates to Part 3 of the new Schedule 7 but only to the extent that Part 3 of the new' Schedule 7 relates to the transitional provisions and savings in relation to the amendments effected by section 6 (insofar as it relates to the new section 25(1)(c))).
