PATENTS (AMENDMENT) ACT 2006 (CERTAIN PROVISIONS) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER 2009
I, MARY COUGHLAN, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 51(2) of the Patents (Amendment) Act 2006 (No. 31 of 2006), hereby order as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Patents (Amendment) Act 2006 (Certain Provisions) (Commencement) Order 2009.
2. The 21st day of May 2009 is appointed as the day on which the provisions of the Patents (Amendment) Act 2006 (No. 31 of 2006) specified in the Schedule come into operation.

Sections 6, 8, 9, 26, 27, 28 and 30.

This Order appoints 21st May 2009 as the date on which specified provisions of the Patents (Amendment) Act 2006, arising from the commencement of the Patent (Amendment) Rules 2009, come into operation.
