The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Paris Act (1971) of the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886, has the honor to notify him that the Government of the Republic of Chile deposited, on March 25, 1975, its instrument of accession to the said Convention as revised at Paris on July 24, 1971.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 28(2)(c) and (3), the Paris Act (1971) of the said Convention will enter into force, with respect to the Republic of Chile, three months after the date of this notification, that is, on July 10, 1975.
