The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the receipt, on December 24, 1991, of the notification of the Government of the United States of America, dated December 17, 1991, regarding a new schedule of fees and the kinds of microorganisms and material accepted by the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), an international depositary authority under the Budapest Treaty on the International Recognition of the Deposit of Microorganisms for the Purposes of Patent Procedure, done at Budapest on April 28, 1977, as amended on September 26, 1980 (see Budapest Notification No. 11 of December 3, 1980). The text of that notification is attached.
The fees set forth in the said notification will apply as from the thirtieth day following the date (February 29, 1992) of the publication of the said fees in the February 1992 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle, that is, as from March 30, 1992 (see Rule 12.2(c) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty). The said fees will replace the fees as published in the February 1991 issue of Industrial Property/La Propriété industrielle (see Budapest Notification No. 95 of January 18, 1991).

NOTIFICATION
We have received a notification from the American Type Culture Collection regarding a new schedule of fees and the kinds of microorganisms and material accepted by that organization. In accordance with Rule 12.2(a) of the Regulations under the Budapest Treaty, I am pleased to notify you of the following changes in the fees:
