The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization, has the honor to notify him that the Government of Mauritius deposited, on June 21, 1976, its instrument of accession to the said Convention.
Mauritius, which is a member of the United Nations, fulfills the condition set forth in Article 5(2)(i) of the said Convention.
Pursuant to Article 15(2), the Convention Establishing the World Intellectual Property Organization will enter into force, with respect to Mauritius, three months after the date of deposit of the instrument of accession, that is, on September 21, 1976.
