The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and, in accordance with the provisions of the Stockholm Act (1967) of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property of March 20, 1883, has the honor to notify him that the Government of Mauritius deposited, on June 21, 1976, its instrument of accession to the said Convention, as revised at Stockholm on July 14, 1967.
Concurrently with depositing the said instrument of accession, Mauritius indicated, pursuant to Article 16(4)(b), that it wished to belong to Class VII.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 21(3), the Stockholm Act of the said Convention will enter into force, with respect to Mauritius, three months after the date of this notification, that is, on September 24, 1976.
