SAINT LUCIA No. 20 of 2003

AN ACT to amend the Telecommunications Act No. 27 of 2000 so as to provide for the payment of fees into Consolidated Fund and for matters connected therewith.

BEITENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Assembly and the Senate of Saint Lucia and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title 284 Telecommunications (Amendment) Act 2003. 1. This Act may be cited as the Telecommunications (Amendment) Act 2003.

Amendment of section 4 2. Section 4 of the Telecommunications Act No. 27 of2000 (hereinafter referred to as the "Principal Act'') is amended by adding the following definition in its propel' alpbabetica1 order: ""Comptroller" means the Comptroller of Inland Revenue;"

Replacement of section 39

3. Section 39 of the Principal Act is replaced as follows:

Fees for Licence 39. Any fees payable by an applicant under this Act in respect of a licence shall be

paid by the applicant to the Comptroller."
