Published work 1. A work first published in the United States of America shall be
protected in Israel as though it had been first published in Israel.
Work of an American national 2. A work, whether published or unpublished, of an author who at
the date of the making of the work was a citizen of the United States of America shall be protected as though its author were an Israel national.
Effect 3. This Order shall have effect retroactively as from the 5th Iyar, 5708
(14th May, 1948).
Title 4. This Order may be cited as the Copyright (United States) Order,
5713—1953.
