Details Details Year of Version 2011 Dates Amended up to: February 10, 2009 Adopted: December 2, 1971 Type of Text Framework Laws Subject Matter Other Notes This consolidated version of the Constitution, which was revised in 2011 takes into account amendments up to the Constitutional Amendment 1/2009, which entered into force on February 10, 2009.
The said Constitutional Amendment introduced amendments to the following provsions of the Consitution:
- Articles 54, 59, 62, 64, 67, 72;
- Articles 85, 87, 91, 93 and 121.

Part III, Article 121 of this consolidated version of the Constitution reads:
'Without prejudice to the provisions of the preceding Article, the UAE has exclusive legislative jurisdiction in the following matters:...- Protection of intellectual, technical and industrial property
rights; copyright; and printing and publishing rights;...'.
