The said amending Law No. 2459 amended Article 40 and repealed Articles 7, 8, 10, paragraph f) of Article 38, Articles 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86 and 87. This consolidated version does not include the amendments introduced by "Law N° 4.866/2013 Extending Article 6° Amending Article 20 of Law N° 2.459/2004 on the Creation of the National Plant and Seed Quality and Health Service (SENAVE)", which entered into force on January 1, 2010.
