This consolidated version of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing Act) 2000 (Chapter 6) incorporates amendments up to the Terrorist Offenders (Restriction of Early Release) Act 2020, which entered into force on February 26, 2020.
The said amending Act 2020 introduced amendments to the following provisions under section entitled "Detention and training orders", Chapter II, Part V of this consolidated version:
- Words in s. 106A(6) omitted;
- Words in s. 106A(6) substituted.
Paragraphs 15 & 16 of Schedule 9 (Consequential Amendments) of the said consolidated version provide for the amendments to section 108(6) and section 199(6) of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
