Details Details Year of Version 2023 Dates Assented: October 25, 2022 Type of Text Other Texts Subject Matter Trademarks, Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights), Patents (Inventions), Industrial Designs Subject Matter (secondary) IP Regulatory Body Notes The Statutes (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2022 (Act No. 31 of 2022) was passed by Parliament on October 3, 2002, was assented to by the President on October 25, 2022, and was published in the Government on November 4, 2022. Except for other provisions, Sections 2, 3, 4(1)(e) and (2), 5 to 9, 11, 12(1), 13, 14, 15, 16(a), (c) and (d), 17, 18, 19, 20(1) and (3) to (15), 21, 22(1), (2) and (4) to (14), 23 and 24 of the Act entered into force on November 1, 2022. Sections 6, 18, 22 and 23 provide for amendments to the Patents Act and the Trade Marks Act, Copyright Act, Registered Designs Act and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore Act which entered into force on November 1, 2022. Section 22(3) relating to the amendments introduced by this Act to the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018 entered into force on Novemeber 1, 2023.
