Details Details Year of Version 2021 Dates Status as of: February 5, 2021 Amended up to: July 1, 2020 Entry into force: May 1, 2004 Adopted: June 26, 2003 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Plant Variety Protection Subject Matter (secondary) Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated version updated on February 5. 2021 of the "Act on the Legal Protection of Plant Varieties" incorporates all the amendments up to the 'Act of February 13, 2020, on Amendments to the Code of Civil Procedures and Certain Other Laws', which entered into force on on July 1, 2020; except for some other provisions. Article 9 of the said amending Act of February 13, 2020 introduces amendments (in force on July 1, 2020) to the following provisions under Chapter 2 of this consolidated version: - Sections 1 and 2 under Article 26b were replaced. - Sections 3 to 6 were repealed.
