Details Details Year of Version 2024 Dates Amended up to: January 16, 2024 Entry into force: September 19, 2006 Promulgated: September 18, 2006 Type of Text Other Texts Subject Matter Trade Names, Trademarks Subject Matter (secondary) Domain Names, Geographical Indications, Enforcement of IP and Related Laws, IP Regulatory Body Notes This consolidated version of the Law on Company Names takes into account amendments up to "Law No. LRU-896 of January 16, 2024, on Introducing Amendments and Additions to Certain Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with the Improvement of the System of Justice". Article 8 of the said amending Law No. LRU-896 introduced amendments (in force from 16/01/2024) to different provisions of Article 12^1 of this consolidated version where the word "Agency" is replaced by "judicial body".
