I, JOHN LYNCH, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 153 of the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Act, 1927 (No. 16 of 1927), hereby make the following Rules:

1. These Rules may be cited as the Industrial Property (Amendment) Rules, 1964.
2.-
(1) The Office shall be open to the public for the transaction by the public of business under the Industrial and Commercial Property (Protection) Acts, 1927 to 1958, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 9.45 a.m. and 4.15 p.m. and any other days and hours which may from time to time be notified under this Rule.
(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (1) of this Rule, the Office shall not be open -
(a) on the following days: Christmas Day, Good Friday, Saint Patrick's Day, Bank Holidays and days which may from time to time be notified under this Rule, or
(b) at any times which may from time to time be so notified on days which may from time to time be so notified.
(3) Notification under this Rule shall be by notice posted in a conspicuous place at the Office.
3. Rule 17 of the Industrial Property Rules, 1927 (S.R. & O. No. 78 of 1927), is hereby revoked.

1BRèglement concernant la propriété industrielle (Amendement)

(N° 176. du 20 juillet 1964)

1. — Le présent règlement peut être cité comme étant le règlement de 1964 concernant la

propriété industrielle (amendement).

2. — (1) L’Office sera ouvert au public, pour toutes les transactions prévues par les lois

concernant la protection de la propriété industrielle et commerciale de 1927 à 1958, les lundi,

mardi, mercredi, jeudi et vendredi, de 9 h. 45 à 16 h. 15. ainsi que tous antres jours et heures qui

pourront être notifiés de temps à autre conformément au présent règlement.

(2) Nonobstant les dispositions de HUl’alinéa (1)UH ci-dessus. l’Office ne sera pas ouvert:

a) les jours suivants: Noël, Vendredi-Saint, la Saint-Patrick, les jours de congé de banque

et tous autres jours qui pourront être notifiés de temps à autre conformément au présent

règlement:

b) à toutes heures qui pourront être notifiées de temps à autre de tous jours qui seront ainsi

notifiés.

(3) Les notifications prévues par le présent règlement seront effectuées par le moyen

d’affiches apposées à l’Office d’une manière évidente.

3. — L’article 17 du règlement de 1927 concernant la propriété industrielle (n° 78, de 1927)

interprétation légale)

Le présent règlement abroge l’article 17 du règlement de 1927 concernant la propriété

industrielle, article qui traite des jours et heures d’ouverture de l’Office. Il prévoit que, sauf

certaines exceptions, l’Office sera ouvert au public du lundi au vendredi, de 9 h. 45 à 16 h. 15.
