Details Details Year of Version 2014 Dates Amended up to: June 28, 2014 Entry into force: December 20, 1983 Published: December 16, 1983 Promulgated: December 15, 1983 Type of Text Framework Laws Subject Matter Other Notes This consolidated version of the Constitution of the Republic of El Salvador takes into account amendments up to Decree-Law No. 707 of June 12, 2014, which was published in the Official Gazette on June 19, 2014, and entered into force on June 28, 2014, 8 days after its publication (see Article 63 of the consolidated Constitution where a new section was added regarding the recognition of indigenous peoples). The Constitution of the Republic of El Salvador recognizes within the economic rights, the right to intellectual and artistic property, for the time and in the manner determined by law (Article 103 under Title V).
