DERECHO TERNACIONAL PRIVADO

SE APRUEBAN TRATADOS SUSCRITOS EN EL SEGUNDO CONGRESO SUDAMERICANO, CON UN PROTOCOLO ADICIONAL

MINISTERIO DE RELACIONES EXTERIORES

Montevideo, Noviembre 12 de 1942~

El Presidente de la República, en uso de sus facultades extraordinarias, y con la opinión favorable del Consejo de Estado,

DECRETA:

Artículo 1°.-Apruébanse los siguientes Instrumentos Internacionales suscritos en el Segundo Congreso Sudamericano de Derecho Internacional Privado¡ realizado en Montevideo: Tratado sobre Asilo y Refugio Políticos; Tratado sobre Propiedad Intelectual) y Convención sobre Ejercicio de Profesiones liberales-. suscritos el 4 de Agosto de 1939; Tratado de Derecho de Navegación Comercial internacional: Tratado de Derecho Procesallntemacional; Tratado de Derecho internacional; Tratado de Derecho Comercial Terrestre Internacional; Tratado de Derecho Civil Internacional, con la reserva que sobre los artículos 9° y 59 formularon los Delegados de [a República: y ProtocoloAdicional, suscritos el 19 de Marzo de 1940. ArtJculo 2°.-En el caso que un Estado no perteneciente al continente americano quisiera adherir a LIno o más Tratados o Convenciones mencionados en el artículo anterior, de conformidad con lo dispuesto por el artículo 7Q del Protocolo Adicional, para que la adhesión surta efecto con respecto a la República Oriental del Uruguay, se requerirá expresamente la aprobación legislativa, en cada caso, y podrá denegarse si el Estado que solicita la adhesión no ofrece en cambio beneficio compensatorio y verdadera reciprocidad. Artículo 3°.-Comuníquese¡ etc.
