Details Details Year of Version 2004 Dates Entry into force: January 15, 2004 Published: January 6, 2004 Promulgated: December 29, 2003 Adopted: December 3, 2003 Type of Text Main IP Laws Subject Matter Copyright and Related Rights (Neighboring Rights) Notes Article 2 of the Civil Code stipulates: “Laws shall not be binding until after their publication, and as of the stated day. If no day is stated, they shall be binding eight days following their official publication.”
This Law was published in the Official Gazette on January 06, 2004 (B.O.06/01/04), with no specific date of entry into force; based on Article 2 of the Civil Code it entered into force eight days after its publication.

Ley 25.847

Sustitúyese el artículo 20 de la Ley N° 11.723

Sancionada: Diciembre 3 de 2003.

Promulgada: Diciembre 29 de 2003.

El Senado y Cámara de Diputados de la Nación Argentina reunidos en Congreso, etc. sancionan con fuerza de Ley:

ARTICULO 1° — Sustitúyese el artículo 20 de la Ley N° 11.723 por el siguiente:

Artículo 20: Salvo convenios especiales, los colaboradores en una obra cinematográfica tiene iguales derechos, considerándose tales al autor del argumento, al productor y al director de la película.

Cuando se trate de una obra cinematográfica musical, en que haya colaborado un compositor, éste tiene iguales derechos que el autor del argumento, el productor y el director de la película.

ARTICULO 2º — Comuníquese al Poder Ejecutivo.

DADA EN LA SALA DE SESIONES DEL CONGRESO ARGENTINO, EN BUENOS AIRES, A LOS TRES DIAS DEL MES DE DICIEMBRE DEL AÑO DOS MIL TRES.
