The Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and has the honor to notify him of the deposit by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, on January 31, 1978, of its instrument of ratification of the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) done at Washington on June 19, 1970.
The said instrument was accompanied by the following declaration: "in accordance with Article 64, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is not bound by the provisions of Chapter II of the Treaty." (Translation)
The said Treaty will enter into force, with respect to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, three months after the date on which it deposited its instrument of ratification, that is, on April 30, 1978.
