Declarations, Reservations

Declarations made upon ratification:
1. "In accordance with Article 24, paragraph 7, of the Convention, the Government of Iceland has designated the Ministry of Justice, Skuggasundi, 150 Reykjavík, Iceland, as the authority responsible for the making or receipt of a request for extradition or provisional arrest in the absence of a treaty."
2. "In accordance with Article 27, paragraph 2.c, of the Convention, the Government of Iceland has designated the Ministry of Justice, Skuggasundi, 150 Reykjavík, Iceland, as the authority responsible for sending and answering requests for mutual assistance, the execution of such requests, or the transmission of them to the authorities competent for their execution."
3. "In accordance with Article 35 of the Convention, the the Government of Iceland has designated as the point of contact available on a 24 hours, 7 days per week basis in order to ensure the provision of immediate assistance for the purpose of investigations or proceedings concerning criminal offences related to computer systems and data, or for the collection of evidence in electronic form of a criminal offence:
National Commissioner of the Icelandic Police (Ríkislögreglustjórinn), Skúlagata 21, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland."
